The OPTOMAP is a 200 degree ultra-Widefield retinal image to enable your Optometrist to discover, diagnose, document and refer ocular pathology.
Some ocular pathology may initially present in the peripheral retina, which may go undetected using traditional examination techniques.
The OPTOMAP, high resolution retinal image shows us more than 80% of the retina in a single capture which takes less than half a second and is as simple and easy as a standard retinal photograph.
OPTOMAP imaging is not part of the standard eye examination and carries a supplementary charge.
